We had a wonderful afternoon the Friday after Thanksgiving when we took our two grandsons to Marco Golf and Garden to play putt-putt golf.
When the miniature golf course opened this past spring, we had taken the boys there several times because they really enjoyed going there. Then one day we took them and the place was closed – they couldn’t understand why this beautiful place was not open, and we had a hard time explaining to them that it was all about some power struggle among “adults.” We left to go up north for the summer, and when we returned this fall we were surprised and happy to see that it had reopened. The boys, of course, were elated that they could once again go play golf with grandma and grandpa.
All of us would like to thank the “adults” who finally came to their senses and let this beautiful, eye-appealing family entertainment center reopen for the enjoyment of residents and visitors to Marco Island.
Our congratulations to the owners and employees of Marco Golf and Garden – they have always been very friendly and cordial every time we have gone there – and you can bet that we’ll take our grandsons there over and over again.
