We're in store for a subtle change, thanks to a weak cool front that made its way down the Florida peninsula on Monday afternoon. Temperatures will take a slight dip for one day, setting the stage for a nice week across Southwest Florida.

You'll notice areas of low clouds and patchy fog as we get the day started and you may want that light sweater as temperatures will be a few degrees cooler. In town, expect thermometer readings in the upper 50s to low 60s, with a few middle to upper 50s across inland communities. Afternoon highs will gradually work their way into the middle to upper 70s with comfortable humidity levels. This will make for a pleasant Tuesday with partly sunny skies and a light breeze around 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight, mostly clear skies will prevail with quiet weather with a few areas of patchy fog. Temperatures won't be quite as cool as they settle into the upper 50s to lower 60s.

For Wednesday and beyond a nice warming trend will commence. Afternoon highs will be several degrees above average as they climb into the lower 80s.
