Marco Island police arrested a 21-year-old man, accused of picking up a 14-year-old girl at the boat parade and taking her back to his house.

Julian Thomas Lasher of the 300 block of Nassau Court, Marco Island, faces charges of interference with custody.

The teen was reported missing by her legal guardian Saturday when she went to the bathroom at the parade and did not return, reports said.

Police tried searching for the girl on foot and with a police dog, but with no success.

Using Facebook, officers were able to track the girl to Lasher’s home Sunday where the two were found laying in his bed.

Reports said Lasher’s mother greeted police and then retrieved her son. Lasher’s mother could be heard saying “Let’s go get out of bed, the cops are here,” and “I told you she looked young.”

Lasher told police he did not know how old the 14-year-old was. Police collected Lasher’s iPhone and bedsheets for evidence.

"I told you she looked young." WTF?! Shouldn't she be arrested for allowing it to happen?
