After a cool and comfortable start to Friday morning, the region’s weather will quickly warm up through the day with daytime highs on track to reach the low to mid 80s this afternoon.
One noticeable change today will be the rise in humidity as winds become more southerly. With the increase in humidity comes more cloud cover mixing in with sunshine, making for a partly sunny day. Rain chances will stay on the low side through the day with only a few isolated showers developing during the late afternoon and evening.
Tonight will be noticeably warmer than the past several nights as our low temperatures only cool down to the mid to upper 60s, which is where we're start out early Saturday morning. The weather story line heading into the weekend will revolved around unseasonably warm temperatures as highs both Saturday and Sunday soar into the mid 80s, which will be close to record territory.
