After what ended up being a pretty quiet and comfortable Christmas Day across Southwest Florida, we're in store for some weather changes that will start taking effect today.

The same front that brought in the cooler weather Wednesday will actually move north back into Southwest Florida on Thursday, bringing back the warmth and even a little moisture. The two main changes we'll notice today are increasing clouds and warmth — but it's also possible to see a couple of showers around by the afternoon.

Our temperatures will return to the warmer side of average by the afternoon as highs climb into the low 80s, and that's even with plenty of clouds around. We'll likely be treated to some breaks to sun at times, but overall, clouds will probably win out over sunshine today.
