An East Naples woman was arrested Monday, accused of stealing from her employer.
Kristine Marie Nebus, 47, whose exact address was not released, is facing felony charges of grand theft $5,000 to $10,000 and fraud to obtain property over $5,000.
Collier County sheriff's deputies responded to the Home Depot at Airport-Pulling Road where a loss prevention officer provided them with security footage and a written statement from Nebus, a cashier at the store, acknowledging that she had been defrauding the company since November.
In the statement, Nebus wrote that she was ringing up items for an acquaintance at a discount, according to an arrest report. They then returned the items to another Home Depot for store credit and sold the store credit.
Nebus told deputies that she wanted to cooperate and put the issue behind her.
