A Golden Gate man was arrested Tuesday after deputies seized $35,000 worth of marijuana in his home and found a grow operation inside the garage.
Acting on a warrant, Collier deputies searched a home belonging to Rafael Angel Reyes, 21, at 1818 52nd St. S.W. around 4 p.m. Tuesday. Inside the garage, they found 10 marijuana plants, reflective materials on the wall, fertilizers and planting pots, according to an arrest report.
Investigators also found 14.5 pounds of marijuana, 5.5 grams of cocaine, several baggies, a digital scale and a box of ammunition inside the home.
Reyes faces charges of manufacturing drugs in a structure with minor present, manufacturing marijuana, possessing marijuana with intent to sell, possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana, possessing cocaine, possessing ammunition by a convicted felon and possessing drug paraphernalia.
He remains at the Naples Jail Center in lieu of bonds totaling $132,000.
