After a soggy Thursday with more than 1.5 inches in the rain gauge, we have one more day of unsettled weather until conditions improve by the weekend along with a significant cool down.
A trail of moisture streaming from the Gulf of Mexico will continue to interact with a stalled front near Southwest Florida. This will keep mostly cloudy skies in the forecast along with a few downpours from time to time, NBC-2 reports.
By Saturday, we'll start to see some clearing during the morning hours, however a few clouds could stir up during the afternoon hours as another cold front slides its way down the state. This front will deliver a chill to the air by the time Sunday morning rolls around with lows plummeting into the lower 40s in some areas.
