Former Lely High School star Steve Octavien has signed a two-year contract with the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes.

The team announced the signing Saturday.

Octavien has played with four NFL teams in three seasons. Most of that was with the Dallas Cowboys. He was with the Arena Football League's Tampa Bay Storm last year, and the UFL's Omaha Nighthawks in 2011.
