The agenda includes:
A summary of the city’s ISO rating by Insurance Services Office, which measured the city’s ability to fight fires. Among its suggestions for improving the city’s rating, ISO listed the purchase of a fireboat and the hiring of three additional firefighters.
Council members will also review of a claim the city will consider filing against British Petroleum for damages incurred following the 2010 Deepwater Horizon explosion.
They will also have a discussion about downtown parking regulations, which have not been revised on a large scale since 1994.
