Domestic violence arrest
James Tobias Pace, 22, of the 1300 block of Tobias Street, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies on Saturday at the Golden Gate substation. He is accused of striking a pregnant woman with a wooden boat oar, punching her arm, pushing her to the floor and kicking her back.
DUI arrests
■ Marvin Cortez-Vargas, 23, of the 2000 block of Southwest 44th Terrace, Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies on Saturday at 2315 Vanderbilt Beach Road. He is also facing a charge of marijuana possession.
■ Derek Steven Jenks, 34, of the 15000 block of Cortona Way, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies on Saturday at U.S. 41 and Guilford Road.
■ Jose Javier Gonzalez, 43, of the 1000 block of Northeast 47th Avenue, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies on Saturday at 17th Avenue Southwest and 55th Terrace Southwest.
■ Lorenzo Alonso Castro, 27, of the 5300 block of 16th Place, Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies on Friday at 5300 Southwest 16th Place. He is also facing a charge of driving without a license.
