After a cloudy and showery Wednesday, all signs point to more sunshine for Thursday while we start to shave a few degrees off our afternoon highs each day.
Temperatures this morning will be slightly cooler in the upper 50s with a few readings in the middle 50s deeper inland. Through the afternoon a mix of sun and clouds will dominate our skies and daytime highs will climb into the middle 70s for most.
As moisture begins to increase across Southwest Florida on Friday expect our skies to stay mostly cloudy. This will be the start of an unsettled weather pattern featuring more clouds and the threat for some wet weather as a strong disturbance dives southward toward the Gulf of Mexico.
Expect a chilly weekend ahead.
