A Bonita Springs man was arrested Wednesday after being accused of stealing construction equipment from a paving company.
The owner of Pavers Inc., 27950 Industrial St., said a woman called him in late December and said Brian C. Battaglia, 45, had broken into the shop and stolen some items in November. The owner told deputies Battaglia knew where the equipment was because he had been in the shop earlier to purchase a vehicle, according to an arrest report.
Pawn shop records showed Battaglia sold a concrete saw, a pressure washer and a grinder to Capital Pawn in late November, reports said. Deputies were able to recover the items.
