TAMPA — Authorities are investigating after a charred body was found outside a Southwest Florida home.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives responded to a call about a house fire early Monday morning. But the fire was outside the home, burning a patch of grass. Authorities extinguished the fire and examined the burned body.
No details about the victim were released.
The investigation continues.
