An Immokalee man is accused of stealing and pawning nearly $3,000 worth of jewelry from a woman's home in mid-December.

On Dec. 11, a woman returned to her home on the 1100 block of Little League Road and found the front door kicked in and about 25 pieces of jewelry missing. Collier detectives learned the jewelry was sold that same day to a pawn shop in Lehigh Acres, according to an arrest report.

The shop was closed for the holidays until Jan. 4, at which point detectives interviewed the owners. They learned Demandrea Fuller, 20, sold the jewelry for $1,530, deputies reported.

Reports said Fuller admitted to selling the jewelry but not to the burglary itself. Fuller, of the 1100 block of Hickock Lane, faces charges of burglary and grand theft.
