The Naples Soap Co. has been chosen as the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and the Collier County Commission's Business of the Month in January.
The award goes to an organization that has enhanced the community through financial, volunteer and active involvement in organizations and programs.
Naples Soap Co. opened its first retail store in Naples in 2009 in a 300-square-foot space. Today, the business operates five stores in Florida — Tin City in Naples, Fort Myers, Fishermen's Village in Punta Gorda, Sarasota Lakewood Ranch and Key West. Naples Soap also runs an Internet store, along with seven shops in Tokyo.

Financial firm marks 3 years
Andrew Hill Investment Advisors Inc., a Naples-based investment and wealth management advisory firm, will mark its three-year anniversary this month.
To honor the occasion, the firm will contribute $1,000 each to three charities: Baby Basics of Collier County, the Cancer Alliance of Naples and PAWS Assistance Dogs Inc. The not-for-profit organizations were nominated by the firm's partners based on their good work in the community.

London Bay Homes buys Mediterra homesites
Naples-based London Bay Homes has completed the purchase of 23 vacant homesites in Cabreo, a luxury villa neighborhood in Mediterra.
London Bay Homes manages sales and operations in Mediterra, the 1,700-acre master-planned community.
Square footage, exterior colors and landscaping designs for London Bay's villa homes in Cabreo will be similar to the existing residences created by Taylor Morrison, which sold its remaining homesites in the transaction.
London Bay expects home and homesite packages to be priced in the $700,000s.
