Three men suspected in three separate Lee County gas station robberies were arrested early Thursday in East Naples after being accused of stealing three cartons of Marlboro cigarettes from a Collier County 7-Eleven.

Around 4:15 a.m., Collier deputies learned that the cigarettes had been stolen from a 7-Eleven at 3701 Santa Barbara Blvd. and noticed the men matched the description of three suspects wanted in three gas station robberies that had just happened in Lee County.

A 7-Eleven employee said the men had come into the store, stolen the three cigarette cartons, then left in a white Cadillac, which also matched the description of the vehicle used in the Lee robberies, according to an arrest report.

Deputies later found the Cadillac at an apartment complex on the 8600 block of Dilip Lane and found the three men inside one of the units, reports said.

Rolando Enrique Iglesias, 26, of Hialeah, Fla.; Ernesto V. Herbello-Sanchez, 45, of Lehigh Acres; and Asiel Rodriguez, 23, of the 2300 block of 39th Avenue Southwest in Golden Gate each face a misdemeanor charge of petit theft. Rodriguez also is accused of cocaine possession.

Deputies said in reports that all three "are the suspects in one other retail theft in Collier County and three more crimes in Lee County."
