Naples woman uninjured when her car hits dead coyote on I-75

A Naples woman wasn’t injured when authorities say her car struck a dead coyote along Interstate 75 in Bonita Springs early Monday.

Maria Torres, 40, was driving a 1995 Honda Accord north on the inside lane of I-75 near mile marker 117 shortly before 6 a.m. when she struck the animal. Torres’ lost control and veered left, toward a bridge guardrail, which the car hit. The Honda spun several times before stopping.
