The Florida Everblades announced they agreed to terms with defenseman Mike Ratchuk on Wednesday.
Ratchuk, who was drafted 42 overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, played with Ljubljana Olimpija HK of the Austrian Hockey League this season. Ratchuk posted 4 goals and 7 assists in his time with the club.
Last season Ratchuk, a memeber of the 2011-12 Kelly Cup-winning Everblades team, contributed 32 points in 47 games with the Everblades and the Elmira Jackaals. Ratchuk also scored 4 goals and 2 assists in last season's playoffs with the Everblades.
Ratchuk is expected to resume his Everblades career on Saturday, when the Everblades will take on the Greenville Road Warriors at Germain Arena.
