— Motorists can expect major traffic delays along roadways in East Naples and North Naples on Sunday while the seventh-annual Moe’s Southwest Grill/Cancer Alliance of Naples (CAN) Bike Brunch Ride is under way.

The event is expected to attract about 700 to 800 bicyclists. The ride will begin at Lowdermilk Park off Gulf Shore Boulevard in Naples and consist of five different distance rides of 10, 20, 30, 62 and 100 miles.

Roadways that will be affected between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. include U.S. 41 East, Davis Boulevard, Santa Barbara Boulevard, Vanderbilt Beach Road and Pine Ridge Road. Motorists are advised to avoid these routes during this time, the Collier County Sheriff's Office reports.

The Sheriff’s Office also reminds motorists to give bicyclists traveling on roadways at least 3 feet of space when passing.
