Women's swimming: FGCU sails past FAU

The Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving team sailed past Florida Atlantic University, 146-92, to earn its sixth straight win on Wednesday.

The Eagles had 11 first-place finishes, including two each by sophomore Emma Svensson and senior Eva Lehtonen.

"The team stepped up and swam well tonight," said coach Neal Studd." We had some solid swims across the board so I am very happy."

FGCU will host North Florida in its final home meet of the season on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m.
