Man flown to Lee Memorial after motorcycle crash in Naples

NAPLES — A man was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital Sunday night following a crash involving a motorcycle, according to Naples police.

The wreck happened around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Diana Avenue and U.S. 41, according to a police dispatcher. Paramedics described the injured man as being approximately 50 years old.

Medflight landed at Fleischmann Park around 6:45 p.m. to transport the patient. No further information was immediately available.
