A woman was arrested early Saturday at the Seminole Casino Immokalee, accused of hitting a man in the head with a glass bottle.
Just before 5 a.m., Seminole police broke up a fight between two women in front of the casino’s Zig Zag Lounge. Officers tried to handcuff one of the women, later identified as Joann Gonzales, but Gonzales pulled away from them, telling them to “get your (expletive) hands off me,” according to an arrest report.
The other woman told police Gonzales approached her in the bathroom saying she wanted to fight her. The woman returned to the bar with her friends and shortly after, Gonzales approached her and threw a glass bottle toward the group of friends, hitting one of them in the head.
Gonzales, 39, of an unknown address, faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication.
