Deputies investigating two sexual assault reports

Collier County sheriff's detectives are investigating two reports of sexual assault that occurred on Saturday.

The first victim, a juvenile, told deputies she was at the Swamp Buggy campgrounds, 8520 Collier Blvd., when a man she knew came into a tent and began groping her. The girl said she pulled away and left, but he followed her into another tent.

He then grabbed her head and forced her to perform a sex act on him, according to an incident report.

In a separate case, another victim said she was at home Saturday when a man she recognized from a party she had attended came to the front door and barged his way in with a knife. He took her into the living room, held the knife to her and forced her to have sex with him, according to reports.

The woman called the Sheriff's Office after consulting with several hotlines, reports said.

No arrests have been made in either case, and detectives are continuing to investigate.
