Naples police are on the lookout for the driver of a sport utility vehicle they believe was following a group of 9-year-old girls near Lake Park Elementary School on Wednesday afternoon.
Four girls told police they were walking in the 1200 block of 14th Avenue North when a black older model SUV began following them. The girls ran to a friend's house and the SUV drove away.
The driver was described as a white man with short brown hair in a crew cut. He was wearing dark sunglasses.
