It is a mild, but muggy morning in Southwest Florida. We'll start with dry conditions and mainly clear skies. Then, for the afternoon and evening, scattered showers and storms will move into the area.
There is a large area of tropical moisture that will be moving across our state from the Bahamas over the next couple of days. That means that we will see higher rain chances starting late today and going up even more for Wednesday and Thursday.
While this doesn't look like the large rain amounts that we got last week, we are likely to see an increase in shower and storm activity from what we have seen the past few days.
