A.M. UPDATE -

Believe it or not, Sunday is looking even stormier than Saturday for many of us across Southwest Florida.

Even though Tropical Storm Chantal lost its tropical status some days ago, its leftover moisture has managed to drift over the Florida peninsula, which will be one of the variables in play to make for another stormy day.

We're also tracking another disturbance across North Florida this weekend, which will have more of an indirect effect on our weather by bringing the flow in from the tropics, tapping into its rich moisture pool.

As we get our Sunday going, we'll a good chance for downpours closer to the coast, but the highest rain prospects will come during the afternoon and evening.
