PHOTOS: Marco Island hosts Adamski Family Charity 5K Run/Walk

The Adamski Family Charity 5K Run/Walk, hosted by the Marco Island Fire Department was a great success as over 200 participants came out to show their support this Saturday, July 27.

The event was held to benefit the family of Firefighter Lt. Corey Adamski, after a tragic accident in early July severely injured his entire family, including the fatality of their unborn child.

Additional support was given by Marco Island Police, City of Naples Fire Rescue, City of Marco Island and Marco Island Soccer Club to name just a few.

Numerous refreshments were served during the event including hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, fruit and drinks, all donated by Winn Dixie.

A tremendous amount of support has been pouring in since the unfortunate accident. Neighboring communities have sponsored numerous charity events benefitting the Adamskis family.
