SW Florida weather: Hot and humid today with slim chance of rain

Plan on a mainly dry and seasonably warm end to the work week today with partly sunny skies.

Expect a typical June day in Southwest Florida with temperatures climbing into the lower 90s. The humidity also will be high, which will cause regional temperatures to feel oppressive. Heat indices could be near 100 today.

The radar will be rain-free this afternoon, and temperatures will be warmer. There’s only about 20 percent or less chance of rain.
