On Collier Boulevard between the I-75 northbound on and off ramps and Business Circle all southbound travel lanes will be closed to all traffic for about 30 minutes on Thursday between midnight and 6 a.m., weather permitting, as crews install new overhead sign trusses.

This work is being done as part of the Collier Boulevard and Davis Boulevard Road Widening Improvement Project.

Collier County Growth Management Division suggests that drivers who do not have a destination in this vicinity may want to take an alternate route.

On Immokalee Road between Airport-Pulling Road and Collier Boulevard, and on Immokalee Road between Wilson Boulevard and Oil Well Road, expect intermittent lane closures for about one week overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting, as crews place pavement markings on the roadway.

Law enforcement officers, flagmen, electronic message signs, lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs and barricades will be used to assist motorists traveling in these areas.
