SW Florida weather: Expect chilly, cloudy, rainy weekend

Southwest Florida will see quite a change when it comes to the weekend's weather as it will feature more clouds, a few showers and chilly temperatures. Make sure to grab the sweaters as you head out the door this morning.

Temperatures are starting off in the middle and upper 50s, under mostly cloudy skies. We may a few peaks of sun early in the day, but this will be very short lived as clouds begin to spread across the area making for a mostly cloudy and cool afternoon. Daytime highs will climb into the upper 60s to low 70s, which is about 10 degrees below the average.

Tonight, mostly cloudy skies will stay in place and with another push of cool air, overnight lows will tumble into the upper 40s by morning. But it will be even cooler on Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid 40s.
