State has questions for Lee County schools

the Florida Department of Education is looking into allegations against the Lee County School District's Superintendent Dr. Joseph Burke.

Education officials in Tallahassee want answers about three specific concerns that could be signs of mismanagement.

First, they want to know if he suspended an active investigation concerning an administrator, Dr. Deedara Hicks.
