The Gators (23-1) scored three times in the sixth to come from behind and take the lead, then added three insurance runs in the top of the seventh.
The Tide scored two runs in the third on a wild pitch and bases-loaded walk to take a 2-1 lead, then the Gators tied it up in the top of the fifth. Alabama went back ahead on Kaila Hunt’s RBI double and Danae Hays’ RBI single.
