Two Lee County students who wrestled away a loaded gun from another student on a bus last week were being hailed as heroes.
Now, they’ve been suspended.
Earlier this week, the Lee County School District disciplined the two Cypress Lake High students for violating the school’s “code of conduct.”
The stepmother of the 15-year-old student arrested for having the gun told NBC-2 the students got a raw deal.
