Superintendent admits he tried to stop state investigation

Lee County School District Superintendent Dr. Joseph Burke tells NBC2 he did try to stop a state investigation into whether Dr. Deedara Hicks allegedly consumed alcohol on the job.

"I called state investigators and told them that there were procedural errors in the original collection of data," said Burke

Thursday Burke released a 24-page response from Hicks who claims she had a medical condition that caused her pain and side effects.
