UPDATE:
The man whose body was found floating Tuesday off Marco Island has been identified as a 49-year-old local resident, the Collier County Sheriff's Office reports.
About 4:15 p.m., kayakers found Bradley Jay Carscadden's body about a half-mile off the coast from the Goodland Bridge. Carscadden lived on a boat in that area, said Jamie Mosbach, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office.
"No foul play is suspected, but we do have an ongoing death investigation," Mosbach said.

Kayakers discover body near Goodland Bridge
Collier County sheriff’s deputies are trying to identify a man whose body was found off of Marco Island on Tuesday.
Around 4:15 p.m., kayakers about a half-mile off coast from the Goodland Bridge called authorities about a floating body. Investigators who recovered the body said it was a white man appearing to be about 50 years old, said Jamie Mosbach, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office.
Nothing about the man indicated foul play, Mosbach said, but the condition of the body did not allow investigators to make an immediate identification.
No furthers details about the death investigation were immediately available.

bradley will be remembered as a decent guy! they will probably play "free bird" for him at his wake---but i wonder if alcohol was involved?

I ask where is the yellow kayak i gave him? Why was he found in the condition he was found in? how long was brad dead before being found? What did the coroner find? Did alcohol play a part? He was going to AA and was doing good last i saw him! Brad was a vet. and a nice guy. My flag will be at half mast till some of the questions are answered.
