College baseball: Naples' Fieger leads Miami over Illinois State

Naples High grad Brad Fieger had a career night to help the University of Miami baseball team past Illinois State, 9-2, in Coral Gables on Wednesday night.

Fieger, a junior third baseman, had his sixth multi-hit game of the season. He had a bases-loaded double to help the Hurricanes to a five-run lead. He had three doubles and set a career high with five RBIs for Miami (14-5).
