High pressure is in control of the weather in Southwest Florida. That means we'll see clear skies, allowing for a chill to start the day with temperatures in the 40s and 50s this morning.
Through the day we'll see lots of sunshine, but we'll only be able to warm into the lower 70s. Winds around the area of high pressure will be coming in from the north-northeast at 15 to 20 mph with gusts near 25 mph, making for a breezy day.
Temperatures will drop to the low to mid 40s across the region tonight.
