Fans will be able to send off the Florida Gulf Coast University men’s basketball team on Wednesday morning as it heads to Philadelphia for its first NCAA tournament appearance.
The Eagles will face Georgetown University on Friday night in Philadelphia in the first round of the tournament.
The team will be leaving Alico Arena by bus at 8 a.m. to catch a flight to Southwest Florida International Airport.
The school’s band will be leaving for Philadelphia by bus at 7:30 a.m.
