After some beneficial rains to start the week, the possibility of even more will remain in the forecast through Wednesday as a cold front approaches from the north.
As a result of wet ground and high humidity, patchy fog is possible Tuesday morning with a couple of spotty showers. Temperatures will start off rather mild and muggy in the mid 60s and afternoon highs will warm back into the lower 80s.
As south and southwesterly winds continue to pump in a warm and humid air mass, rain prospects will stand at about 40 percent this afternoon with a few showers during the day primarily east of Interstate 75. Late Tuesday and into Wednesday, we'll be tracking another weakening cold front as it slides down the Florida peninsula.
