Fire crews called to same Golden Gate house twice in one day

Golden Gate fire crews responded to the same home twice on Wednesday.

The first visit to 3197 43rd Street S.W. was around 10:45 a.m. for a kitchen fire that reached the attic. That fire was extinguished and crews went through the house with a thermal imaging camera.

The second call came in at 2:48 p.m., and the fire spread through the home quickly.
