Man accused of lying about criminal record to purchase gun

Domestic violence arrests

■ Joe L. Barrs, 49, of the 2800 block of 50th Street Southwest, Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at home. He is accused of jabbing a woman in the throat.

■ David Edward Inskip, 37, of the 1100 block of 10th Avenue North, Naples, was arrested by Naples police Tuesday at 860 Seventh Avenue North. He is accused of throwing a woman on the arm of a chair, putting the front of his body on her, attempting to remove her shorts and covering her mouth to prevent her from screaming.

Drug arrests

■ Andres Morales, 34, of the first block of Truman Circle, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at Santa Barbara Boulevard and Recreation Lane. He is facing a cocaine possession charge.

■ Katrina Marinzieadele Laur, 19, of the 4200 block of 24th Avenue North, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at Santa Barbara Boulevard and Recreation Lane. She is facing charges of controlled substance possession, narcotics paraphernalia possession and violating county probation for DUI and possession of marijuana.

DUI arrests

■ Terry Allen Simon, 50, of the 700 block of Charlemange Boulevard, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at U.S. 41 East and Seminole Avenue.

■ Daniel Eugene Redman, 49, of the 200 block of Ninth Street Southwest, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday on Sixth Street Southeast.

■ Caramelo Chavez, 26, of the 2700 block of Immokalee Road, Immokalee, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday in the 9000 block of Collier Boulevard. He is also facing charges of DUI with property damage, resisting an officer without violence, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

■ Timothy J. Boylan, 50, of the 1400 block of Logan Court, Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at Santa Barbara Boulevard and Davis Boulevard.
