A Naples family owned pharmacy has closed one of its stores. Sunshine Pharmacy on Davis Boulevard closed its doors Tuesday and its employees were let go.

Sources have said that owner Del Parrish is delinquent on his lease and the building which housed the pharmacy has been sold.

Sources in the Drug Enforcement Agency confirm that Parrish has given up some of his power to prescribed drugs. The DEA's office reports that Parrish surrendered his licenses to dispense certain controlled drugs.

Parrish is still licensed to fill prescriptions on other drugs at two of his remaining stores.
