LARGO — Police are searching for the suspect of an armed home invasion who they shot at as he fled the scene.
Largo police responded to the home invasion call Thursday night. While they were outside, the suspect left the residence and made contact with one of the officers.
Police say shots were fired. The officer wasn't injured, but the suspect was shot. Authorities say they don't know the extent of the suspect's injuries.
An investigation continues as officer search for the suspect.
