A 48-year-old Miami man faces charges after Collier deputies busted a grow house containing 38 marijuana plants.

Deputies arrested Jose E. Morales on Thursday, about two weeks after investigators executed a search warrant at his home on the 3700 block of Randall Boulevard in Golden Gate Estates. Inside the home, investigators found the plants, which had an estimated street value of $114,000, and equipment valued at $20,000, deputies said.

Investigators also found the main power supply had been diverted to power two air conditioners and 13 1,000-watt transformers.

Nobody was home when the search warrant was executed, but Morales, the homeowner, was located there two weeks later.

Morales faces a felony charge of possession of a structure for the purposes of trafficking marijuana.
