A 28 year-old Naples man was arrested Friday after Collier County deputies said he performed a sexual act on a girl and told her he would kill her mother if she told anyone.
Jose Luis Sandoval-DeJesus, 28, of the 3100 block East Tamiami Trail, East Naples, was arrested Friday by Collier deputies at home. He was charged with lewd or lascivious battery, committing a sexual act with a person between 12- and 15-years-old.
According to reports, the 13-year-old victim told deputies she had been sexually battered by Sandoval-DeJesus, who lived in her neighborhood.
The victim told police that one day, Sandoval-DeJesus grabbed her and pulled her into his trailer. According to reports, she said he struck her several times before she stopped trying to get away. She told deputies he pulled her clothes off and held her down on the bed and got on top of her, according to the report. She said told deputies he penetrated her and it lasted for a few minutes and then he got off of her, according to reports. Sandoval-DeJesus told the victim not to tell anyone or he would kill her mother, according to reports.
In another incident, Sandoval-DeJesus sent the victim a text message and told her to come to his trailer, which she told deputies she did because she was afraid. Once inside, she told her to swallow a pill and drink a glass of water, and she did, according to reports. The girl told deputies she lost consciousness and did not know what took place, according to reports. She said when she woke up, her clothes were on, but her legs hurt and it was difficult to walk, according to reports.
The victim identified Sandoval-DeJesus in a photo lineup, according to reports.
Sandoval-DeJesus was located at his home by deputies and arrested.
