Robert Johnson, Naples:

Presidential principles

Has any previous president taken steps intended to endanger citizens here at home? Surely not.

But now President Barack Obama has let prisoners out, weakened the border patrol and closed airport towers, all so he can blame the Republicans for the sequester and regain power in the 2014 elections.

Sadly, no Democratic politician has the principles to stand up for the people and call him out on this.

A recent poll even shows that 60 percent of Americans think the president is a good man. History will not so judge him. No good man would endanger American lives here at home solely to promote his own agenda.
