Deputies: Couple’s possessions thrown to the curb

A Chokoloskee man and woman are accused of throwing another couple’s belongings to the curb.

The victims said they had planned to move out of the home on the 300 block of Smallwood Drive and were gone for two weeks. When they came back and they found their possessions on the side of the road.

Deputies said Martin Luther Weeks, 52, and Nicole L. Norris, 37, put the victims’ belongings on the side of the road. The property was damaged and valued at $2,000, according to the arrest report.

Weeks and Norris are both facing felony charges of criminal mischief.

Domestic violence arrests

Javier Soto Cuevas, 46, of the 600 block of Hope Circle, Immokalee was arrested Friday by Collier deputies at home. He is accused of pulling a woman’s hair.

Joshua Philip Selesky, 20, of 1800 block of Lime Key Lane, East Naples was arrested Saturday by Collier deputies at home. He is accused of pushing a man to the ground.

DUI arrests

Theresa M. Reardn, 25, the 200 block of SE 16th Place, Cape Coral, was arrested Saturday by Collier deputies at the intersection of U.S. 41 East and Courthouse Shadows. She is also facing a felony charge for possession of heroin.

Matthew Cook, 27, of Lexington, Ky., was arrested Saturday by Collier deputies as the intersection of U.S. 41 North and Michigan Avenue.

Xochitl Avila, 34, of Golden Gate, was arrested Saturday by Collier deputies at the 1500 block of Pine Ridge Road. Avila is also facing a misdemeanor charge of DUI property damage.

Gregory J. Cozad, 57, of Coral Gables, was arrested Saturday on a boat by Florida Fish and Wildlife officers in the Hill Bay area.

Hit and run arrest

Gustova Soto Jr., 23, of 5200 block of Treetops Drive, East Naples, was arrested Saturday by Collier deputies at the 3700 block of U.S. 41 East. Soto Jr. is accused of hitting a car in a parking lot and walking away from the scene.

Drug arrests

Ronell Davis Jr, 31, of the 35 Hibiscus Avenue, and Deborah McClusky Sparks, 41, of the 3800 block of Guilford Court, both of East Naples, were arrested Saturday by Naples offieres on Golden Gate Parkway. They are both facing felony charge of possession of cocaine after officers said they found crack cocaine in an Ibuprofen bottle.

Beau Baylor Haydon, Kevin Matheny and Ryan Montgomery, all 20 and from St. Louis, Mo., were arrested Saturday by Marco officers at the 800 block of Collier Boulevard. All three are facing felony charges for possession of a controlled substance.
