Lee County business trade show next week
The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce will host the fourth annual Celebration of Business & Tourism Chrysalis Awards Luncheon and Trade Show on May 16.
The show is from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Harborside Event Center in Fort Myers. This year’s Chrysalis awards are projected to attract about 400 attendees and seven award recipients will be announced.
More than 60 nominations were received for this year’s Chrysalis awards, which signify the development of a partnership between the business and tourism communities.

Gordley named IberiaBank Naples president
David Gordley has been named Naples market president of IberiaBank Corp.
Gordley, who relocated to Naples in 2005, is originally from Ohio and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky.
Foundation presents hospital with check
Copperleaf Charitable Foundation recently presented a $5,000 check to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida for its capital campaign.
Lee Memorial Health System will build a new 128-bed hospital. Construction is set to begin later this year.
The foundation gift qualifies for the community challenge matching grant given by Golisano, who pledged $20 million if Lee Memorial Health System Foundation could raise $20 million before May 2014.

Sky Zone Indoor trampoline Park plans to open this year at 14181 U.S. 41 S., Fort Myers.
