State: Marco business owners didn’t have workers comp insurance

Three Collier County men were arrested Thursday during a state joint workers’ compensation compliance operation in Marco Island.

William Martinez, 42, owner of Alarms by Bell, 633 Nassau Road, Marco Island, was accused of conducting business in the construction industry and failing to obtain workers’ compensation insurance.

William Albert Reiter, 59, owner of William Reiter LLC, 394 Gumbo Limbo Court, Marco Island, is accused of allowing three employees to perform pressure washing on a house without insurance.

Eduardo Gutierrez, 46, owner of Eduardo Gutierrez of Collier Inc., 361 Periwinkle Court, Marco Island, is accused of allowing three employees to conduct drywall work without insurance.
